About Me
Hey there, I'm Elisa (she/her) and I am deeply committed to amplifying the voices of intersectional feminist activists through beautiful design. My mission? embodying Squarespace values of simplicity AND design for EVERYBODY to ensure that every feminist activist has a digital platform that's not just visually appealing but also does justice to the cause dear to their hearts, no matter what it is.
Let's be real; the world isn't always kind to voices that strive for equality and justice. That's where I step in - making you more visible through a website that stands out, makes noise, and most importantly, inspires action.
My businesses is inspired by…
The state of the world that is literally on fire (literally and figuratively!). As I see this, I am more and more convinced we need feminist businesses now more than ever. However, their visibility is ridiculous to say the least. Do know what you get when you Google "feminist business"? If you guessed "a range of diverse and various flourishing feminist and inclusive businesses", you would be wrong. Along CV Harquail works and theory, some other theoretical work, and the Feminist Business School, you found nothing, nada, zilch. It is as if feminist, inclusive and diverse businesses did not exist. (at least in my region of the world, let me know if it’s different where you live!)
But I know they exist, you have a business just like that after all! Feminists have always strive for a radical future where everyone belonged and all needs were taken care of, and it starts with us in a siblinghood where we support each other and give each other what we need.
So I am all about this exchange, if you need a website and want to work with someone who understand your values and is receptive to feedback whether it is about web design, feminism, inclusivity or accessibility, I am your gal’.
